Fudan: GSG-E2A level 0 sequencing file

E2A is a level 0 in our collection-Grape Yeast. It is a short sequence that induce ribosomal skipping (a form of translational recoding) at a specific Gly-Pro bond. This failure to form a peptide bond allows a single mRNA transcript to be translated into two separate, equimolar proteins (upstream and downstream products). Their primary function is to simplify gene delivery by enabling the co-expression of multiple genes from a single promoter in a polycistronic vector. In our program, we added the three amino acids, GSG, upstream of the sequence to enhance cleavage efficiency. In this dataset, we provided the ab1 sequencing result and genbank file with features of this level 0.
