Multiscalar Impact Framework Prototype 1

This dataset accompanies the MSC Pathway Projects Multiscalar Impact Measurement Framework (2026). It comprises four interrelated spreadsheets that collectively document the design, instrumentation, cross-referencing, and empirical gap analysis of a multiscalar impact measurement system for MSC Pathway Projects — fisheries improvement initiatives working toward Marine Stewardship Council certification across 16 projects globally.The framework measures holistic sustainability impact across four pillars (Environmental/Ecological, Economic, Social/Cultural, and Governance/Empowerment/Equity) at three nested scales: fishery, project, and MSC programme. The dataset reflects framework revisions informed by analysis of 18 survey responses received from all 16 Pathway Projects in March 2026.This is the first prototype of the Impact Framework.The operational working version of the impact measurement framework tool, containing four sheets: Framework Overview, Fishery Scale KPIs, Project Scale KPIs, and Programme Scale KPIs. This version contains the core KPI architecture (definitions, tiers, scoring guidance, instrument cross-references, data sources, and aggregation protocols) without the supplementary mapping, change log, and reference sheets included in the Prototype 2 file. It serves as the practitioner-facing instrument for scoring and data collection.<br>
