Characterization of 1,4-dioxane degrading co-metabolic cultures amended with propane, 1-propanol and 2-propanol

1,4-dioxane degrading enrichment cultures were developed from impacted site sediment and agricultural soils. Following enrichment on propane, several cultures were capable of 1,4-dioxane biodegradation while being amended with 1-propanol or 2-propanol. WGS analysis was conducted to determine the phylotypes and functional genes involved.
