The data for this study comes from the feedback results of participants in the relative position judgment task. The program automatically records the participants' reaction coordinates and reaction times. We first convert the collected coordinate data into pointing errors (always positive after absolute value conversion) in Excel. Referring to the processing method of Wang et al. (2021), trials with pointing errors greater than or equal to 45 ° are defined as erroneous trials, and all data of participants with accuracy rates below 60% are excluded. Then, the reaction time, accuracy, and pointing error of each experiment were entered into SPSS, and the score of the Santa Barbara Orientation Questionnaire was used as a covariate. SPSS 26.0 was used for repeated measures ANOVA of pointing error, and the reaction time was statistically analyzed.  In several data tables, 1/2/3 in each group represent Experiment 1, Experiment 2, and Experiment 3 respectively; Subject represents the subject number; Layout represents two partial scenarios for subjects and partners to learn; The test sequence represents four different test arrangements; The SDDS score represents the score for Santa Barbara Sense of Direction; IMAN+angle is the imagined orientation of the subject in the relative position judgment task, and the corresponding value is the average pointing error of the subject in that imagined orientation; Orthogonal direction refers to the average pointing error in the orthogonal direction of each participant's learning perspective in each experiment, while oblique direction refers to the average pointing error in the orthogonal direction of the corresponding partner's learning perspective. The unit of pointing error is "degree".
