Whole genome bisulfite sequencing analysis of Oryza sativa indica lines infected with an Indian isolate of Rhizoctonia solani AG1-IA

The methylation dynamic of two rice genotypes namely, PR114 (susceptible) and IET-21299 (moderately tolerant) was studied upon infection with an Indian isolate of R. solani AG1-IA. Both the rice genotypes were inoculated with R. solani AG1-IA and samples were collected at 0h (control), 24h, 48h, 72 h post inoculation. The sequencing of bisulfite-treated DNA was performed on Illumina HiSeq platform (Illumina, San Diego, USA) in paired-end mode (2 x 150 bp), with >30x sequencing depth of rice genome.
