pBI143 across non-human environmental metagenomes

The anvi'o contigs-db and profile-db files in this folder represent the metagenomic read recruitment results from 936 non-human gut metagenomes using the pBI143 version 1 (which was reconstructed from a metagenome that were labeled as USA0006, hence the file names). <br> If you look at the anvi-db-info output for the profile-db, you will see that there are only 435 samples present in the database rather than 936. The reason to that is becauase the samples in which pBI143 did not recruit even a single read are not included in downstream analyses. The list of original sample names used for the analysis include Tara Ocean and Ocean Sampling Day Project open and coastal marine metagenomes, human oral and skin metagenomes from the Human Microbiota Project, primate gut metagenomes, dog metagenomes, and sewage metagenomes around the globe, and their accession numbers are available via the Supplementary Table 1 (alternative_environment tab) of the Fogarty et al 2023 study.
