The compressed file provides some data for the manuscript “A single-pixel elemental imaging method using neutron-induced gamma ray activation”. There are four files in the folder.(1) The “Gamma ray spectra” provides the acquired neutron induced gamma spectra of 30 collimators and the traditional method.(2) The “Efficiency matrix” provides the calculated detection efficiency matrix. The efficiency was associated with the pattern of the collimator. The pixel number is set to 900. The energies of Cd peak and Cl peak are 578 keV and 1164 keV, respectively.(3) The “Thermal neutron mapping” provides the thermal neutron distribution at the sample position. Mesh tally with a pixel of 2 × 2 mm2 was mapped to calculate the distribution, which gives a 30× 30 pixels.(4) The “Elemental mapping” provides the reconstructed data of two images. The values are normalized, ranging from 0 (minimum value) to 1 (maximum value).
