New Religious Movements

Main purpose of the research was to obtain information about one of the older, larger, better organized and more active new religious movements: ISKCON. Research contains data on development of the movement, its activities, organizational structure and financing, way of living inside the community, religious practices etc. One of the purposes was also to establish, who members of the movement are, level of their integration in the broader community and what are the relations with the later. The aim of the survey was also to discover to what extent (if at all) members of ISKCON stand out from the rest of Slovenian population with regard to socio-demographic characteristics and their attitudes and to take notes of similarities and differences between members of ISKCON and active Catholics.
