Following the addition of a pattern very similar to one of the previously inscribed patterns, the basin of attraction of ξ(5) in the Hopfield network(HN) vanishes or becomes 0. After orthogonalization (GS), the basins of attraction are all non-zero, however, the addition of a similar pattern makes the basins anisotropic.
