Aerial photographs of glaciers in the Nepal Himalayas obtained during the Glaciological Expedition in Nepal (GEN) at 1978e #1.

Glaciological and meteorological observations on the glaciers and climates in the Nepal Himalaya were carried out as the "Glaciological Expedition of Nepal (GEN)" in 1973, 74, 75, 76 and 78, with the permission and cooperation of His Majesty's Government of Nepal, under the leadership of Keiji Higuchi (Higuchi, 1976, 1977, 1978 and 1980). These flight photographs collection are taken in 1978 e (16 Nov. 1978) flight.1973、1974、1975、1976及1978年，研究团队以"尼泊尔冰川考察队（Glaciological Expedition of Nepal，GEN）"的名义，在尼泊尔国王陛下政府的许可与协作下，由樋口敬二（Keiji Higuchi，其相关研究发表于1976、1977、1978及1980年）牵头，针对尼泊尔喜马拉雅地区的冰川与气候开展了冰川学与气象学观测。本次收录的航空摄影数据集采集于1978年11月16日的飞行任务。
