This is a report resulting from the visit to Australia by a member of the firm of Sir Alexander Gibb and Partners, Consulting Engineers, London. The report covers such items as essential site requirements, ports visited, sites found practicable. It recommends Garden Island, Sydney. The report also includes estimates of cost and plans of the proposed layout and details of bores and rock contours under the site. The document is incomplete and probably represents the copy made available to the Principal Engineer, Water Supply and Sewerage, for his own information.
