This dataset is linked to paper titled "<b>Cross sectional survey of Maternal and Newborn Quality of Care in Niger: Lessons learned and Recommendations</b>". This research article presents the findings of an assessment of the quality of care in maternal and neonatal health over a nationally representative sample of healthcare facilities in Niger, led by The Ministry of Public Health with support of the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. The study evidenced several key-gaps, including in respectful maternity care, availability of services and integrated screening and management of diseases for pregnant women and babies
