This dataset contained the raw data of the article titled "Optimizing the time window of minimally invasive stereotactic surgery for intracerebral hemorrhage evacuation combined with rosiglitazone infusion therapy in rabbits". Trough these data, we can find that stereotactic MIS hematoma evacuation combined with RSG infusion at an early stage (6 h) resulted in a significant reduction in brain water content and Glu content, thereby attenuating secondary damage caused by ICH. The mechanism for this may be through the activation of PPARγ and CD36 by RSG in microglia and macrophages, clearing necrotic or apoptotic cells via phagocytosis, and inhibiting oxidative stress. These findings improve our understanding of the occurrence and progression of secondary brain injury caused by ICH and provide a basis for treating ICH with PPARγ as a potential target.
