British English Speech Dataset: Read-Aloud Speech (Mobile Recorded). This dataset is collected by reading pre-provided scripts in simulated mobile recording scenarios, spanning a wide range of domains including economy, news, entertainment, daily colloquial speech, numerals and letters, with rich and diverse content. Multiple attributes such as text content and timestamps are annotated for this dataset. It was recorded by 346 participants from diverse regions and cultural backgrounds, with authentic British accents. The source texts have been manually proofread to ensure high accuracy. This dataset provides abundant resources for research and applications related to speech recognition. Verified by multiple AI enterprises, it helps models achieve excellent performance when coping with real-world diversity.
