北极陆地植被对剧烈变化的气候的响应显著,本产品基于Terra MODIS卫星传感器植被指数数据,获得2002-2021年逐年生长季北极陆地最大NDVI数据,可对北极植被的分布及变化情况进行分析和监测。基于Terra MODIS的NDVI数据,经过裁剪、去云、水体掩膜等预处理后,选择每年6、7、8月的生长季影像进行年度最大值合成获得逐年数据。选择时空一致的Landsat数据进行验证,总体精度和Kappa系数分别为82.87%和0.74。在北极陆地植被变化显著的背景下,该数据产品可对北极陆地植被的分布及变化进行有效监测评估,并为北极地区可持续发展提供科学数据支持。
Arctic terrestrial vegetation exhibits a significant response to the rapidly changing climate. This dataset derives annual maximum NDVI data for Arctic terrestrial regions during the growing seasons from 2002 to 2021 using vegetation index data collected by the Terra MODIS satellite sensor, enabling analysis and monitoring of the distribution and dynamics of Arctic vegetation. Preprocessing steps including cropping, cloud removal, and water body masking were applied to the Terra MODIS NDVI data. Subsequently, growing season imagery from June, July, and August of each year was selected for annual maximum value synthesis to generate the annual dataset. Spatiotemporally consistent Landsat data was selected for validation, resulting in an overall accuracy of 82.87% and a Kappa coefficient of 0.74. Against the backdrop of notable changes in Arctic terrestrial vegetation, this data product can effectively monitor and evaluate the distribution and dynamics of Arctic terrestrial vegetation, providing scientific data support for the sustainable development of the Arctic region.
