Topics in this survey are election issues, economic conditions today and in six months time, living standards, Government spending, drilling for oil at Noonkanbah, performance of Prime Minister Fraser and Opposition Leader Hayden, who is the better political leader, party identification, vote intention and second preference at House of Representatives election, ever voted for different party, vote intention at Senate election, vote intention at State election, interest taken in election campaign, and party expected to win House of Representatives election. Standard variables are country of birth, marital status, education level, religious denomination, church attendance, occupation, trade union membership, (if lady-of-the-house) whether responsible for shopping/cooking, whether lady-of-the-house works, occupation of head of household, age group, sex, subjective assessment of social class, number of persons in household, number and ages of persons under 15 in household, home ownership, gross income, and whether on telephone.
