This layer shows catch basin locations, provides normal and depressed flow elevation information, and who is in responsible for maintaining the structure, either the City of Bakersfield, Kern County, Caltrans or private. Storm water is collected through a catch basin to prevent flooding in streets and redirect the storm water into the storm drainpipe system.
