This project aims to elucidate the molecular mechanisms regulating seed oil accumulation in Brassica napus through transcriptomic analysis. Developing seeds of two contrasting cultivars, high-oil ZS11 (approximately 48% oil content) and low-oil WH5557 (approximately 32% oil content), were collected at three key developmental stages: 10, 24, and 34 days after flowering (DAF). A total of 18 samples (3 biological replicates per cultivar per time point) were sequenced using Illumina platform. This dataset provides a comprehensive resource for understanding oil biosynthesis in rapeseed and for genetic improvement of oil content.
