Ayu (Plecoglossus altivelis), a prized economic fish species in East Asia, suffers significantly from bacterial diseases in aquaculture, including bacterial hemorrhagic ascites caused by Pseudomonas plecoglossicida. Given the issue of antibiotic resistance stemming from antibiotic misuse, we explore plant-derived active compounds as alternative prevention and treatment strategies in this study.Divide the mandarin fish randomly into two groups, feeding them with feed containing 0 mg/kg (PP) and 50 mg/kg (RE) of resveratrol respectively for one month. By studying the transcriptome changes in the liver tissue of mandarin fish after infection, the molecular mechanism of resveratrol on mandarin fish against Pseudomonas plecoglossicida infection is revealed.
