Safety map of Ukraine based on ACLED at 1 km resolution (armed events within 10 km)

This dataset provides a safety risk map for the territory of Ukraine based on the Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project (ACLED). It visualizes the density of conflict-related events recorded between 2022 and 2024, aggregated within a 10 km radius and output at 1 km spatial resolution. The map shows relative security conditions relevant to energy infrastructure planning, indicating areas with higher or lower intensity of armed incidents. It was developed to support the land suitability analysis for solar PV deployment under the U_CAN – Ukraine towards Carbon Neutrality project (Horizon Europe, Grant Agreement No. 101148374).
