GoldPolish-Target is a targeted genome assembly polishing tool that uses long reads. We tested GoldPolish-Target on Oxford Nanopore Technologies datasets with a human cell line (NA24385) and Drosophila melanogaster (fruit fly). Here, we provide the data for the GoldRush baseline (unpolished) assembly and the GoldPolish-Target and medaka polished assemblies of these long-read datasets.
