In this study, we assume that rare rhizosphere groups have greater effect on functions and trade-offs than rich rhizosphere groups. To verify this hypothesis, we characterized rhizosphere bacteria and fungi, rhizosphere C, N, P circulation function, versatility, aboveground primary productivity and their trade-offs, and discussed how bacteria and fungi drive rhizosphere multiple functions, aboveground primary productivity and their trade-offs.
