Primary energy consumption change in China 2000-2023

China's primary energy consumption increased by 6.5 percent in 2023, when compared to the previous year. Since the year 2000, consumption growth of primary energy in the East Asian country has oscillated, with the greatest consumption increase seen in 2004, when figures grew by 17 percent in comparison to the year before.
