Assessing Water Quality in Guilford County

Water systems in Guilford County, are vital to public health, economic growth, and environmental sustainability. This study examines the impact of socio-economic development on water quality, considering factors such as urbanization, industrial activity, and land use. Using ArcGIS Pro Hot Spot Analysis (Getis-Ord Gi)*, spatial patterns of water infrastructure and contamination risks are identified. The findings highlight disparities in water quality systems. Emphasizing the need for sustainable management strategies. This research provides understanding for assessing equitable water systems in Guilford County.
