HBV infection alters the compostion of gut microbiota

In recent years, gut microbiota has become a hot research. A large number of studies have shown that intestinal flora can regulate the host’s immune homeostasis. At the same time, studies have found that the gut microbiota between patients with alcoholic liver disease or cirrhosis and healthy people is different. However, the effect of HBV infection on gut microbiota is unknown. This study explored the influence of acute and chronic HBV infection on gut flora in mice.
