We compared the diversity, composition, interactions, and predicted metabolic contribution of the gastric microbiota in subjects presenting with gastric cancer (GC, n=12), functional dyspepsia (FD, n=20) and gastric ulcer (GU, n=4) from a high GC risk population in Singapore and Malaysia. 16S rRNA transcript sequencing and analyses were conducted using the 515F-806R primer pair, Illumina MiSeq 2x250 bp chemistry.
