Fine-scale population spatialization data of China in 2018 based on real location-based big data

The 1 km grid population data of China mainland in 2018 can be accessed freely at the figshare repository. All data were mapped using the Albers equal-area projection. central_meridian: 105 standard_parallel_1: 25 standard_parallel_2: 47 datum: D_WGS_1984 The data collection contains one .rar file, labelled China_POP_1km_2018.rar, which contains the annually average Tencent LBS data in 2018 (TN_hSum2018.tif), the 1km grid population data of China mainland in 2018 (POP2018.tif), and the county-level boundary polygon feature joining with statistical population in 2018 (statisitcal_pop_polygon_features.rar).
