Object of study: Lonicera japonicaExperimental condition:Control group (CK),  Light stress (L), Moderate stress (M) and Severe stress (S)Dataset composition: The dataset consists of 20 Supplementary data files, including: (1) Supplementary Data 1: The DEGs were identified in the six pairwise comparisons (i.e., CKT vs. LT, CKT vs. MT, CKT vs. ST, LT vs. MT, LT vs. ST, and ST vs. MT). (2) Supplementary Data 2: Ct values of RT-qPCR. (3) Supplementary data 3: The metabolites comprising 23 categories were identified in 24 samples using an LC‒MS positive ion model. (4) Supplementary data 4: A total of 3,190 differentially accumulated metabolites (DAMs) were screened from six pairwise comparisons (CKM vs. LM: 633, CKM vs. MM: 1176, CKM vs. SM: 1381, LM vs. MM: 1,223, LM vs. SM: 1,397, MM vs. SM: 656). (5) Supplementary data 5: A total of 72 pathways were enriched with genes and metabolites at the same time. (6) Supplementary data 6: The relative expression levels (FPKM) of DEGs related to chlorophyll synthesis. (7) Supplementary data 7: The chlorophyll synthesis-related enzyme concentrations. (8) Supplementary data 8: The accumulation levels of four different metabolites in the chlorophyll synthesis pathway.
