RURBAN-Map: A knowledge-guided framework for nationwide fine-scale urban-rural land use mapping in China

RURBAN-Map is a product generated based on an advanced urban land-use mapping framework that integrates multi-source geospatial data with prior urban knowledge, as detailed in the paper “RURBAN-Map: A knowledge-guided framework for nationwide fine-scale urban-rural land use mapping in China". This dataset provides comprehensive land-use mapping results covering both the UR-Blocks dataset and the full extent of 20 representative cities and three major urban agglomerations described in the study. The product is publicly available and is expected to benefit a wide range of research and practical applications.
