Dataset for: Modelling the Relationship Between Ceiling Finishes Costs and Total Construction Cost of Residential Building Projects Using Construction Cost Indices: Implications of Ceiling Finish Selection for Sustainable and Energy-Efficient Housing Development in South-Western Nigeria

This dataset comprises anonymized historical cost data from 60 completed residential building projects executed between 2011 and 2025 in South-Western Nigeria. The dataset was used to examine the relationship between ceiling finishes costs and total construction costs using construction cost indices and regression analysis. The accompanying manuscript also reports findings from a questionnaire survey of construction professionals; conversely, the original raw questionnaires are unavailable because they were not retained after statistical analysis.
