The processed data from the Dartmouth Flood Observatory's (DFO) global flood database used in Najibi, N. and Devineni, N., 2018, Recent Trends in the Frequency and Duration of Global Floods, Earth System Dynamics, https://doi.org/10.5194/esd-2017-59. This database is created to be used only for research purposes. We request the users to please cite the above paper (Najibi and Devineni, 2018) along with the relevant sources from the Dartmouth Flood Observatory (http://floodobservatory.colorado.edu). We acknowledge G. R. Brakenridge and A. J.
