Estimate of the plentifulness of the different benthic species, by
means of samples collected in radial areas with drag box-corer,
Agassiz drag and suprabenthic grip slipper, on the southern and
northern areas of Livingston Island, Deception Island and Straight of
Bransfield.

Prospecting of the sampling area with echo sounders EA-500 and
EK-500 over the radial in order to determine the nature of the
substrate.

Collection of the basis oceanographic parameters using CTD in all
of the sampling stations.

Submarine diving in Livingston Island and Deception Island in order
to carry out photographic sampling following paths, quantitative
sampling and submarine films.

Bionomic mapping using sampling with submarine video (robot
HYBALL).

Study of the trophic relations fish-benthos by means of analysis of
stomachal contents of fish.

Study of the stock, phenology and production of the main
communities of macrophytes.

Estimacion de la abundancia de las diferentes especies
bentonicas, mediante muestreos en radiales con draga box-corer,
arrastre Agassiz y pat?n de arrastre suprabentonico, en las
zonas sur y norte de Livingston, Deception y estrecho de Bransfield.

Prospeccion del area de muestreo con ecosondas EA-500 y
EK-500, sobre los radiales, para la determinacion de la
naturaleza del substrato.

Recogida de parametros oceanograficos basicos
mediante CTD en todas las estaciones de muestreo.

Inmersiones submarinas en Livingston y Decepcion para la
realizacion de muestreos fotograficos siguiendo trasectos,
muestreos cuantitativos y filmaciones submarinas.
