Summary: This dataset was collected to investigate the factors influencing the cybersecurity resilience of social media users within Generation Z. The study was conducted specifically in Indonesia, exploring the unique digital ecosystem and user behaviors of Indonesian youth. It examines the relationships between technical knowledge, legal frameworks, social culture, platform policies, and technological standards toward cybersecurity practices on social media. Methodology: Data was obtained through an online survey targeting the Gen Z demographic across various regions in Indonesia. The primary research variables were measured using a 1-5 Likert Scale, defined as follows: 1: Strongly Disagree / Never 2: Disagree / Rarely 3: Neutral / Sometimes 4: Agree / Frequently 5: Strongly Agree / Always Data Structure: The dataset is organized into two main sections: Demographic Information & User Profile: Gender Occupation / Profession Latest Education / Highest Education Level Number of Social Media Platforms Used Most Frequently Used Social Media Platform Daily Social Media Usage Duration Primary Purpose of Using Social Media Monthly Income / Monthly Allowance (in Indonesian Rupiah - IDR) Research Variables (1-5 Likert Scale): X1 (MPK) - Building Knowledge and Capabilities: Technical training, webinars, and discussions. X2 (KHP) - Legal Frameworks and Regulations: Perceptions of Indonesian cyber laws and regulations. Y1 (BMS) - Social Media Culture and Society: Awareness of local and global digital threats. Y2 (KSM) - Social Media Policies and Strategies: Platform-specific security governance. Y3 (ST) - Standards and Technology: Technical verification and detection features. Y4 (PKS) - Security Practices in Social Media: Practical implementation of security measures.
