Risk factors for mortality as assessed by univariate and multivariate Cox regression analysis in overall incident CAPD patients (n = 776). *Adjusted for the variables with P<0.1 in the univariate model plus gender and RRF, including age at initiation of peritoneal dialysis, gender, cardiovascular disease, hemoglobin, serum albumin, DBP, iPTH, total cholesterol, and triglyceride and RRF. Transport status was alternatively assessed either as a categorical variable (PET classes) or as a continuous variable (D/P Cr 4h) in the multivariate adjusted model.
