资源简介:
Nautilia strain PV-1 originated from subseafloor hydrothermal fluids released from an active vent at 9°N East Pacific Rise. The fluid temperature at the vent orifice was about 55 °C. For the shipboard incubations, vent fluids were collected using isobaric gas-tight samplers. Fluids samples were then transferred from the isobaric samplers to a shipboard continuous culture system and incubated anaerobically at 25 MPa and 55 °C under a CO2/H2 atmosphere with NO3- as the terminal electron acceptor. The strain PV-1 was isolated and 16S RNA gene-based phylogenetic analysis showed that strain PV-1 was an Epsilonproteobacterium of the family Nautiliaceae. Nautilia strain PV-1 grows in marine salts minimal medium supplemented with NO3- as the terminal electron acceptor under a CO2/H2 atmosphere with doubling time of 40 minutes at 55 ºC-0.5 MPa, in agreement with the growth kinetics of other bacteria within the Nautiliaceae .
