Is Preparation Enough to Produce the Cost of Task Switching? A Recipe for a Task-Switch Cost After Cue-Only Trials, 2018-2022

The original grant that funded the collection encompasses a variety of studies. The main aim of the project was to investigate whether what we "know" and what we "do" have different effects on our subsequent behaviour investigated by looking at our ability to switch between different tasks. The data set includes trial data from seven experiments that compared task-switch costs after cue-only trials and after completed trials in a cued task-switching procedure.
