Clary sage - rhizosphere fungal community

This study was conducted within the framework of a phytomanagement approach, aiming at mitigating the risk bound to the presence of the trace elements in soils and at valuing the produced biomass through essential oil distillation. The purpose of this study is to investigate the structure and temporal evolution of the fungal and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi communities in a trace element-contaminated soil, in the vicinity of a former lead smelter and under the cultivation of clary sage. The potential structural changes induced by inoculation using an exogenous arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi inoculum were also assessed.
