In order to explore the regulation mechanism of diapause in Monochamus alternatus larvae, we screened the key genes of insect diapause by transcriptomic method, and verified the function of five key genes of diapause. The results showed that CYP314a1 and CYP18a1 genes could regulate the diapause of Monochamus alternatus through the ecdysone biosynthesis and metabolism pathway. This will help to elucidate the molecular mechanism of diapause-induced larval diapause, and provide new ideas for the comprehensive management of pine wood nematode.
