国家地球系统科学数据中心

国家地球系统科学数据中心是国内规模最大的综合性地球系统科学数据库群，围绕地球系统科学与全球变化领域科技创新、国家重大需求与区域可持续发展而建立。数据中心已建成涵盖5大圈层、20个二级学科、121个数据要素的多时空尺度综合性地球系统科学数据库群，资源总量达2.44PB。中心通过自主加工、模型模拟计算与大数据深度挖掘等多种渠道，整合、集成、汇聚地球系统科学领域分散科学数据资源，提供公益性、高水平共享服务。National Earth System Science Data Center (NESDC) is the largest comprehensive Earth system science database cluster in China. It was established to support scientific and technological innovation in the fields of Earth system science and global change, address major national strategic demands, and advance regional sustainable development. The center has built a multi-spatiotemporal scale comprehensive Earth system science database cluster covering 5 major spheres, 20 secondary disciplines and 121 data elements, with a total resource volume of 2.44 PB. Through multiple channels including independent processing, model simulation and calculation, and in-depth big data mining, the center integrates, consolidates and collects scattered scientific data resources in the Earth system science field, and provides public welfare and high-level shared services.
