The IoT DDoS Honeypot Dataset is a comprehensive collection of data designed to enhance our understanding of Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks targeting Internet of Things (IoT) devices. This dataset likely includes a diverse range of information, such as network traffic logs, packet captures, and system-level data, generated during the operation of IoT honeypots. The dataset aims to capture the tactics, techniques, and procedures employed by malicious actors when attempting to compromise and overwhelm IoT devices with traffic, leading to denial of service. The collected data comprises information from the Internet of Things (IoT), obtained through a honeypot—a system intentionally designed to attract cyberattacks and unveil the strategies, methods, and procedures employed by attackers.
