AI-Reconstructed MEC-AD\/AD Study Dataset

This dataset is a synthetic replication of microbial electrolysis cell assisted anaerobic digestion (MEC-AD) scale-up trial data used to develop a transfer learning soft sensor for real-time chemical oxygen demand (COD) monitoring. The original trials were conducted in a commercial environment to validate pilot-scale MEC-AD reactors treating high-strength industrial waste. To protect confidentiality, the dataset was anonymised and AI synthesised to retain key statistical and dynamic relationships among process variables. It supports validation and benchmarking of the COD prediction process in anaerobic digestion research.
