Examination of the effect of nocadazole treatment on lipidomics

We conducted an analysis to investigate the impact of Nocodazole treatment on Caki-1, a human renal cell carcinoma cell line. Our preliminary lipidomics analysis revealed that Nocodazole induces the accumulation of triacylglycerides (TAGs) in Caki-1 cells. To gain further insights, we employed inhibitors of diacylglycerol acyltransferases (DGATs), including DGAT1 and DGAT2, which play a pivotal role in TAG synthesis by adding a fatty acyl group to the sn-3 position of diacylglycerol, ultimately forming TAGs.
