Genome-wide of DNA methylation profiles in relation with their differentiation mechanisms of the red- and white muscle in Chinese perch Siniperca chuatsi

Skeletal muscles in fish composed of spatially well-separated namely as the red- and white muscles with different physiological functions and metabolism. To understand the underlying epigenetic regulatory mechanism of the fish skeletal muscle differentiation and growth, the genome-wide of DNA methylation profiles of the red- and white muscle in Chinese perch Siniperca chuatsi were comparatively assayed by bisulfate sequencing methods.
