资源简介:
The common approach for diagnosing toxoplasmosis is by serological assays mainly utilizing T. gondii tachyzoite lysate antigen. However these serological assays have drawbacks in distinguishing the recently acute toxoplasmosis. Even several combinations of serological assays cannot determine the initiation of infection especially if the infection has occurred in previous 3-4 months. Currently, recombinant protein using ELISA (Rec-ELISA) methods are being developed to diagnose recently acute toxoplasmosis. Our hypothesis was “a patient that has recently acute toxoplasmosis can be diagnosed by a bradyzoite/sporozoite specific antigen using ELISA if the patient got infected with bradyzoite/sporozoite”. Thus in the present study, the diagnostic value of sporozoite specific SporoSAG and bradyzoite specific BAG1 proteins as well as GRA1 protein expressed by all form of the parasite have been evaluated using a Recombinant ELISA.
