Black Sea mesozooplankton data from the 'BRIDGE-BS February 2023 cruise' performed in Romanian Waters

The dataset contains qualitative and quantitative data of mesozooplankton taxa collected in February 2023, in the framework of BRIDGE-BS cruise in the Romanian Black Sea waters within different depths. The mesozooplankton samples were collected with a Juday net, with an opening of 36 cm diameter and 150 µm mesh size towed from bottom to surface. Taxonomic identification was performed to the lowest possible level. Data is in OBIS format. These data were generated within the framework of the BRIDGE-BS project (EU H2020, grant agreement No 101000240) and are intended for scientific research and environmental assessment purposes.
