This series contains correspondence and reports addressing the day to day issues of property management concerning the Latrobe Valley properties under the control of the Office of the Administrator for the State Electricity Commission of Victoria (SECV). The series also contains an SECV asset register of all SECV properties as at June 1995.A brief prepared by Knight Frank Hooker on behalf of the SECV contains a management strategy for the Real Estate assets in the Latrobe Valley with a market value of $30m, a strategy for the disposal of approximately 240 properties under the control of the SECV following the restructuring of Generation Victoria.Series also contains Rates Notices, together with correspondence between SEC and Gippsland Water and plans of the SEC Latrobe Valley lands and disputes arising out of the sale of Hazelwood Power and Energy Brix with local shire and local government.Conveyancing files are also included as is survey material, including photographs in relation to the disputed ownership of the Latrobe River pumping station, the conclusion being that the pumping station is owned by either Yallourn Energy or Gippsland Water.
