THEATRE, ART AND LITERATURE IN THE CONDITIONS OF THE FORMATION OF THE SOVIET SYSTEM

This article examines the changes that occurred in the field of theater, art and literature during the formation of the Soviet system between 1917 and 1941, the influence of political ideology on culture, the attitude of artists to the new system and artistic research. The introduction of the principles of socialist realism, state censorship, the transformation of art into a propaganda tool, and the fate of writers, artists and directors who lived and created during this period are analyzed. The process of Sovietization of national art and its consequences are studied separately using the example of Uzbek culture.
