LEESPQ Dataset of Early Speech Production in Romanian Children With Cochlear Implants

This dataset contains anonymized responses to the 27-item LittlEars Early Speech Production Questionnaire (LEESPQ) collected from Romanian children with cochlear implants. The LEESPQ assesses preverbal and early verbal auditory behaviors (0–18 months) using yes/no parental reports, with total scores ranging from 0 to 27. All parents were native Romanian speakers, ensuring consistent linguistic exposure. The dataset includes demographics, implantation details, item-level LEESPQ responses, and total scores. Data are fully anonymized and were used in the associated study on early speech production outcomes after cochlear implantation.
