This dataset contains the data collected for the dissertation "The Development of Pre-service Preschool Teachers: Contributions of Self, Family, and Strategy Factors". The research aims to explore the changes in four student developmental outcomes (i.e., academic adjustment, social adjustment, subjective well-being, and vocational identity) among first-year pre-service preschool teachers and examine the contributions of self factor, family factor, and strategy factors to these developmental outcomes. This dataset includes data collected from student surveys and individual interviews. In terms of the survey, 139 students participated in the pilot study; 539 students (Time 1) and 507 students (Time 2) participated in the main study. Thirteen students participated in semi-structured interviews. <br>
