\"This Investing in America (IIA) dataset includes information on Federally funded programs and projects under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), and CHIPS and Science Act (CHIPS). This dataset covers a subset of what these laws will fund and is not intended to be definitive or comprehensive. Rather, it is intended to illustrate the scope of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, Inflation Reduction Act, and CHIPS and Science Act, and the impact they have in all American communities. The public map and state fact sheets available at invest.gov are derived from the information in this dataset along with other public data sources. This dataset is a compilation of various public data, such as press releases, public funding opportunity announcements, public Treasury account information, etc. It may contain errors either originating from its data sources or arising from the compilation process. All announcement data is preliminary and non-binding. Awards may be contingent on meeting certain requirements. Project locations are approximate, and in many cases, represent the geographic center of the city or county where a project is taking place.
